Daniel Hughes, MD

Dr. Daniel Hughes is an Assistant Professor and a team physician for the University of Pittsburgh Panthers. He currently practices at UPMC as an Orthopaedic Surgeon, with a specialization in Orthopaedic Sports Medicine. Dr. Hughes has an extensive background in research and has participated in several research grants, clinical trials, and peer-reviewed journal articles. His clinical interests include shoulder arthroscopy, complex shoulder procedures, knee arthroscopy, complex knee procedures, and open elbow procedures.
