Dr. James Bailey is an Associate Professor at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences and an Associate Director of Surgical Services at the Naval Medical Center San Diego, where he also practices as an Orthopaedic Surgeon specializing in Sports Medicine. Due to his involvement in the Navy, Dr. Bailey is actively involved in the continued improvement, development, and contribution to the Military Orthopaedic Tracking Injuries Network (MOTION). He frequently serves as course faculty for various conferences and is the Navy representative to the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS) Board of Councilors (BOC). Dr. Bailey is an active researcher and serves as a journal reviewer for multiple peer-reviewed publications and participates in multiple orthopedic societies.
