Jonathan Dickens, MD

Dr. Jonathan Dickens is a Sports Medicine Orthopaedic Surgeon at Duke Health. He specializes in minimally invasive arthroscopic techniques and the prevention of sports injuries. His areas of interest include the development of techniques and treatment protocols for shoulder and knee injuries in athletes to facilitate patients in returning to high levels of function. Dr. Dicken’s clinical expertise includes the treatment of shoulder dislocations, rotator cuff tears, and shoulder arthritis with joint replacement, along with knee injuries. He is heavily involved in research to foster a deeper understanding of orthopaedic conditions and product development to better assist his patients.
