Dr. Lucas McDonald is an Associate Professor of Surgery at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences and the Director of Surgical at the Naval Medical Center San Diego. Dr. McDonald currently practices as a board-certified Orthopaedic Surgeon at the Naval Medical Center San Diego and specializes in Orthopaedic Sports Medicine. Due to his extensive involvement in the Navy, his decorations include the Meritorious Service Medal, Strike/Flight Air Medal with Bronze Numeral 1, Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (two awards), Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (two awards), Humanitarian Service Medal, and various service and unit awards.
