Michel A. Arcand, MD

Dr. Michel Arcand is an Associate Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. He is actively involved in Sports Medicine evidenced by his affiliation with Bishop Hendricken Rugby Club and Newport Rugby Club. His clinical expertise includes the treatment of a wide range of sports-related injuries, utilizing both operative and non-operative methods. Typical injuries include rotator cuff tears and impingement, shoulder dislocations, arthritis, and fractures. Dr. Arcand takes great care in providing each patient with an individual treatment plan with the goal of restoring function and the return to an active and healthy lifestyle.
